Shipping Policy

Where we ship

United States only, including all 50 states. We do not ship internationally at the moment. If you place an order with a non-US address we will contact you and refund it in full.

Rates and delivery times

Shipping is calculated at checkout. Free standard shipping applies automatically once your order total (before tax and shipping) is over $70.

Production time — please read

Every magnet is made to order, so there are two stages, not one:

  1. Production: 1-3 business days. We print, cut, back and quality-check your magnet after you order.
  2. Transit: the times in the table above, starting from the day it leaves us.

So a standard order typically arrives 4-8 business days after you place it, and an express order typically 2-5 business days. Express upgrades the transit, not the printing.

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US public holidays. Orders placed after 2pm Pacific, or at a weekend, start production the next business day.

Busy periods — Christmas, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day — can add a day or two to production. We post notice on the site when that's the case.

All times are estimates, not guarantees. Once your parcel is with the carrier, their schedule is out of our hands.

Tracking

You get a confirmation email when you order and a second email with tracking when your parcel ships. Tracking can take up to 24 hours to start updating after you receive it — that's normal.

If you haven't had a shipping email within 5 business days of ordering, email us at hello@magnetosf.com and we'll find out what's happened.

Your address

Please check your shipping address carefully at checkout. We ship to the address you give us.

  • Need to change it? Email hello@magnetosf.com straight away with your order number. If we haven't shipped, we'll change it free.
  • Parcel returned as undeliverable because the address was wrong or incomplete: we'll refund the item price minus the original shipping cost, or reship if you pay shipping again.

We can ship to PO boxes and APO/FPO addresses by standard shipping. Express is not available to those addresses.

Damaged or lost parcels

Damaged in transit: email hello@magnetosf.com within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the item and the packaging. We'll reprint or refund, at our cost — see the Refund and Return Policy.

Not arrived:

  • Tracking says delivered but you don't have it: check with neighbours and around your property, then give it 3 business days — carriers sometimes scan early. Still missing? Email us and we'll open a carrier investigation and put it right.
  • Tracking stopped moving: contact us 10 business days after the last scan for standard, or 5 business days for express, and we'll treat it as lost and reprint or refund.

Once a carrier confirms delivery to the address you provided, risk passes to you — but tell us anyway, because we'd rather help than not.

Multiple items

Multiple magnets in one order normally ship together in one parcel. If something is delayed we may split the shipment at no extra cost to you.

Sales tax

We are registered with the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) and collect California sales tax on taxable orders. Tax is calculated from your delivery address and shown at checkout before you pay. Where we are required to collect tax in another state, that is shown at checkout too.

A safety note

Magnets are small and strong. Keep away from children under 3. Magnets can cause serious internal injury if swallowed. Seek immediate medical attention if swallowed. Please open and unpack your parcel away from young children and pets. Full warning in our Terms of Service.
